This year, we’re thrilled to take part in the Bookbuzz programme, an initiative by BookTrust that helps foster a love of reading.
Research by the National Literacy Trust shows that children who own books are more likely to enjoy reading, perform better academically, and feel happier overall. That’s why we’ve gifted every Year 7 student a book for Christmas—to encourage the lifelong gift of reading and inspire a culture of ‘Reading for Pleasure.’Here’s to sparking imaginations and opening up new worlds through the power of books!

🚀✨ Lift Off with STEM! ✨🚀
We were thrilled to have hosted a one-off pilot of the Lift Off with STEM project in collaboration with Airbus and Rewise! This week, our Year 8 students have worked towards a qualification before putting their skills to the test by building their very own mini Mars Rovers.
This unique opportunity, organised by our fantastic Careers Department, has combined hands-on learning with future-ready skills, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and technical expertise. We are incredibly proud of our students’ enthusiasm and grateful to Airbus and Rewise for helping to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators. What a brilliant day!
