Lower Sixth A Level Politics Students Visit London!
Our L6th A Level Politics students had an incredible opportunity this week to explore the heart of UK politics during their trip to London. The visit included a tour of the Supreme Court, a walking tour of Whitehall (including the Cenotaph, Downing Street, Horseguards Parade and Trafalgar Square), as well as a workshop and full tour of the Palace of Westminster.
Student reflections captured just how impactful the experience was:
“I really enjoyed visiting Parliament, especially the galleries of the House of Commons and House of Lords. It was fascinating watching the debates and seeing the legislative process happen in person.” - Nancy
“This trip gave me real insight into how Parliament operates in action — it was a very interesting and fun experience.” - Ruby
“It was surreal to visit the Supreme Court, especially considering its immense importance. The court was fascinating, rich in history and truly beautiful. I can’t wait to learn more in class.” - Imogen
“I loved seeing parliamentary sessions in action — it really brought what we’ve learnt to life. The workshop where we created our own political parties was great fun, and hearing from our local MP Caroline Dinenage and her assistants was really interesting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.” - Finlay
A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this such a memorable and inspiring day for our students!

Creative Values Workshop at KABH!
Students from across KS3 joined members of our Student Headship Team for a vibrant, hands-on workshop exploring our KGA values — Honesty, Faith, and Courage.
The room was full of energy as students collaborated in mixed groups to discuss what each value means to them and to our school community. They then transformed their ideas into bold, large-scale, graffiti-style artwork that truly brought our values to life.
A huge thank you to every student involved — your enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity were outstanding and made the workshop a real celebration of who we are at KABH.
“Students really engaged with the activity, and it was inspiring to see the KGA values brought to life through their creativity. The way they supported each other across year groups showed exactly what our community stands for.” — Mr Walker
Well done to everyone who took part — a fantastic showcase of our values in action!
