🌟 Join Our Team as an Estates & Community Assistant 🌟
Where every helping hand makes a difference

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces safe, welcoming, and running smoothly? Do you enjoy being the go-to person, the fixer, the friendly face behind the scenes? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a proactive, reliable, and community-minded Estates & Community Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school. In this role, you’ll be essential in helping our school environment remain a safe, clean, and positive place for students, staff, and visitors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the day-to-day upkeep of the school site – from unlocking gates to carrying out routine inspections and maintenance regimes, assist with deliveries, liaise with users of the site over their needs and generally fixing what needs fixing!
  • Helping set up for school events and community use of our facilities.
  • Assisting with health and safety checks, routine maintenance, and keeping our grounds looking their best.
  • Being a friendly, approachable presence for staff, students, and members of the wider community.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone practical, hands-on, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a great sense of responsibility.
  • Someone who’s just as happy working independently as they are alongside others.
  • Experience in a similar role is helpful, but not essential – if you’re keen to learn, we’re happy to support your training needs.

You’ll be part of a school that values every member of its team. We believe that success comes from supporting one another and taking pride in our shared environment. Whether it’s keeping the school ticking over behind the scenes or being a warm welcome at the gate, your role will matter – every single day.

Ready to be part of something meaningful? Apply now and help us to continue making a difference in our community.
