During the week beginning July 10th we will be visited by dogs and handlers from the K9 deployment team. You can find out more about the organisation by following this link: https://www.k9deployment.co.uk/. The dogs are trained to detect the presence of illegal drugs and other prohibited items. This service is used by many local schools and both dogs and handlers are trained to work in a school environment.
We do not anticipate the dogs being in extended close contact with any young people but if you are concerned about allergies or your child is afraid of dogs please do let us know and we will do our best to support to ensure that the visit is not a cause of anxiety for anybody.
